Lamella Saw

Mineral wool cut into finished lamella strips. The product runs on 3m in-feed and out-feed gravity conveyors with side guides.

The mineral wool is cut with 450mm diameter saw blades mounted on a fixed speed drive shaft. The drive shaft is easy to remove for blade changes.
The access guards are interlocked into the E stop circuit.

The mineral wool is fed through the blades by variable speed pinch rollers that also help to support it during the cutting process.
Variable line speed 0-10m/min

The machine has an integral dust collection hopper and top and bottom extraction hoods. This can be connected to an existing extraction system or can be supplied as an optional extra.
